Well it's been 10 years since we all said farewell to Geneva High School, and for many of us farewell to Geneva. But now it's time to come back together to celebrate, catch up and reminisce about everything that's been going on over the last 10 years! Tickets for our 10 year reunion are on sale now, but you must purchase your tickets before September 17th! Tickets are $50 each and $100 for couples. Cost covers ALL food and drinks for Saturday evenings event at the Geneva Golf Club. We look forward to seeing everyone! Please remember to purchase your tickets as soon as possible. Below is a rundown of what to expect Saturday night as well as some alternate activities going on throughout the weekend!
Saturday September 27 - Official Reunion Dinner/Party Saturday evening is when the 'reunion' ten years in the making. At 7:00pm the Geneva Golf Club on South Street in Geneva will open its doors up to our class for an evening sure to remember! Food catered by Chef James out of Geneva will begin at 8pm as well as an open bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks throughout the night. The Geneva Golf Club is newly remodeled and is a great venue.
Below you will find other optional activities going on throughout the weekend Friday - September 26 As some of you may or may not know the reunion weekend also falls on GHS Homecoming weekend. Come join us at Burgess field ~7pm for tailgating and the varsity game between against Sycamore. A lot of things have changed in 10 years---GHS football has been making repeated runs at state in the past couple years. A very good game should be on tap.
Saturday - September 27
10:00am For those of you who may not know the high school has gone through a pretty massive remodel! So for anyone interested in really revisiting the past we are going to conduct a tour of the high school to see what we've all missed out on! To give you a teaser they've added a huge new gymnasium, tore down our old resource centers and believe it or not even have their own TV studio that they broadcast from every morning! Be sure to join us as we visit these and many more changes that took place within Geneva High School!
12pm+ Tee Times For those interested in playing 9 holes of golf at Tanna Farms please email Matt Rodewald at djrodey24@yahoo.com no later than September 12th to reserve a tee-time during our groups chunk of tee-times.
7:00pm As explained above in addition to all the side activities we also have something called a reunion. This event will take place from 7-12 Saturday night at the Geneva Golf Club, you won't want to miss this! Tickets on sale until September 17th and are $50 per person, which covers all your food, drinks and other trimmings throughout the night!
